Moneague College’s Diploma in Psychology is an engaging course which is packed with features that aid students in assessing, understanding and evaluating both classic and contemporary Psychology. Major domains of Psychology are covered including classical conditioning, learning theory, the biological basis of behaviour, visual perceptions, memory, and cognition. The Research Methodology section allows students to cast a critical eye on the research process, to explore the nature of Psychology as an evolving science, and understand some of the ethical issues faced by Psychologists. This course is ideal for learners who want to gain comprehensive understanding of the main elements Psychology, and will be of great benefit to students in their career progression.

Entry Requirements

○     Five CXC/GCE subjects inclusive of English A, Mathematics, and three (3) others at proficiency Level 1-3/A-C.

○     Equivalent qualification(s) as determined by the CCCJ

○     Mature Status as determined by the CCCJ

Duration

The programme lasts for two (2) years.
