An Associate of Science Degree in Social Work at Moneague College enables student to pursue their desire of becoming a Social Worker, Career Counselor and Lecturer in Social Work. Students enrolled in the  Associate of Science Degree in Social Work will be taught by competent lectures that will enables them to have a competitive edge as they enter the working world. They are required to complete 69 credits in courses such as: Introduction to Social Work,

Social Work Practicum and Social Welfare & Policy in order to complete.

Entry Requirements

  • Five CXC/GCE subjects inclusive of English A, Mathematics and three (3) others at proficiency Level 1-3/A-C.
  • Equivalent qualification(s) as determined by the CCCJ
  • Mature Status as determined by the CCCJ

Duration

This programme lasts for two(2) years.
