Associate in Business Studies (CCCJ)
This programme seeks to prepare students with professional knowledge, values, and skills for generalist psychology practice by creating an environment that offers value oriented learning that emphasizes self-assessment, service to community, self-determination, social justice and respect for diversity. Students enrolled in this programme will:
- Attain a basic understanding and practical usage of various psycho-social principles and concepts;
- Develop the necessary skills, attitudes and competencies - such as team leadership, motivation, problem solving techniques, critical thinking, analytical abilities, and an awareness of the knowledge-based economy of the 21st Century;
- Learn the importance of professionalism, appearance and positive work ethics;

OVERVIEW
The Associate Degree in Psychology is an introductory programme in Psychology. It focuses on the broad field of psychology to enable the graduates to understand introductory psychology principles and methodologies, which should provide them with the necessary qualifications to enter a bachelor’s degree programme in psychology.
This programme is an excellent training option for anyone who has an aptitude for skills needed in counselling, communication and interpersonal relationships.
