The Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is built on to the Associate Degree in Business Administration and provides the opportunity for graduates of the Associate degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification, to strengthen their knowledge and become a specialist in any of the following areas:

For the Accounting as well as the Finance and Management options the CCCJ has partnered with the ACCA to offer additional pathways for students to earn further professional qualification in the field of Accounting. Upon completion of the BSc programme, students who registered with the ACCA prior to graduation can receive exemptions and discounts for selecting this pathway.

The aim of this upper-level programme is to:

1. Develop the learner’s analytical and problem-solving skills in the business environment;

Programme Overview

There are 71 credits in the upper division of the Bachelor’s degree programme. The programme is a dynamic one, where students will be exposed to industry practices and experiences during the delivery of the course units. Learners will, to a large extent, be conducting research-based activities, undertaking application assignments and completing a period of internship in industry.

Some objectives of this programme are to:

  • Develop problem-solving and analytical skills in business management
  • Demonstrate competency in current technology, including those applied in the business
  • sector
  • Contribute to the development of human resources in the business industry
  • Apply business principles and concepts in various business environments

Matriculation Requirements:

  1. Applicant must possess an Associate degree issued by the CCCJ (the qualifying degree must be in an area relevant to the intended programme of study).
  2. Equivalent qualification(s) as determined by the CCCJ
  3. Mature Status as determined by the CCCJ

Duration:

Full Time: Two (2) years with four (4) semesters

Part-Time Two (2) years with six (6) semesters i.e. two (2) summer semesters
